"Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar recently released a micro documentary 'A Journey Through Appalachia,'which celebrates the unique ingredients, techniques and culinary traditions of southern Appalachia. The video follows Tupelo Honey’s four-time James Beard Award semifinalist Executive Chef Eric Gabrynowicz on a week-long exploration of this rich food culture." We were excited to have Chef Eric and his companions visit our farm in Berea.

The Sustainable Mountain Agriculture Center is now based in North Carolina. The Center continues to collect and grow out heirloom seeds from the Southern Appalachian region. Seeds are grown in Kentucky, Tennessee and NC. We utilize college students and high school FFA during the school year and summer to help produce and preserve the seeds in our collection. We have added seeds to the catalog for the first time in several years. These varieties are listed under the What's New category above and you can find them in our catalog. We have over 175 varieties of beans for sale to the public and many different tomatoes from the region as well. We look forward to the upcoming growing season in the spring and serving you all to the best of our abilities.
