The Campbell Family Cut Short Bean was given to us by Glenn Campbell. The beans were given to Frank Carver ,his uncle, over sixty years ago in the Sinking Creek Community between Johnson City, TN and Elizabethton, TN. His wife Evelyn (Glenn's aunt) then planted the beans for for well over six decades. She then gave Glenn a big handful of the beans at his request. She made him promise he would also plant them as she had and keep them going. He discovered us and our non profit and knew this is how he would keep them going for many, many generations into the far distant future. We love stories like this!
